YANKTON, S.D. – Rapid City Post 22 scored 2 runs in the third, 4 runs in the fourth and added an insurance run in the sixth as they ran past Yankton Wednesday night 7-1.
Yankton scored their only run of the game in the bottom of the third.
Ryker Henne led the way for Post 22, scoring 3 hits and 3 R.B.I. Drew Scherbenske added 2 hits for the Hardhats.
Dylon Marsh pitched five solid innings for Post 22 and scored 4 strikeouts.
The Hardhats improve to 15-8 on the season and will play a twin-bill at Harrisburg on Thursday.
