ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Rapid City Stevens Raiders girls soccer team is headed to the State AA Championship game.
The Raiders upset Aberdeen Central Tuesday afternoon 3-1.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 1-0 lead over Stevens, but would score no more, as the Raiders found the back of the net 3 times en-route to a 3-1 win.
Stevens will play Sioux Falls Roosevelt for the Class AA Championship on Saturday.
Roosevelt defeated Lincoln 1-0 to earn their trip to the championship match.
In Class AA boys, Sioux Falls O’Gorman will play Yankton for the championship.
O’Gorman defeated Sioux Falls Washington 3-2 Tuesday to earn their ticket to the championship match.
Yankton beat Stevens on Monday.
