RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police on Wednesday responded to a report of a shooting incident near Central High School.
An individual was shot in the face with a BB gun after a road rage incident. After the incident, the shooter fled the scene in a vehicle.
A juvenile has been identified as the shooter and with help from School Resource Officers and RCPD, the shooter was located a short time later.
RCPD emphasized that at no point was there a danger to students in Central High School. The identity of the shooter and the victim have not been released.
