SD Department of Health offering free COVID-19 test kits to all students

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The South Dakota Department of Health announced that they will be offering access to free rapid at-home COVID tests for any student in the state who would like one.

All testing will be voluntary.

Rapid COVID-19 tests swabs

Students will have access to one free take-home test per week.

The test can be self-performed by any student 14 years of age and older, while adults must perform the test for those 2-13 years of age.

All free testing supplies will be provided to each school for distribution to participating students.
