SDHSRF wrap up Sunday at Fort Pierre

FORT PIERRE, S.D. – The 2024 South Dakota High School Rodeo Finals wrapped up Sunday in Fort Pierre, crowning champions and qualifying cowboys and cowgirls for the upcoming National Finals.

The top four finishers in each event advance to the National High School Rodeo Finals coming up in July in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Arina Haugen of Sturgis wrapped up the State Finals by qualifying for three events; Barrel Racing, Breakaway, and Pole Bending. Haugen won the Barrel Racing Title with 82 total points.
