SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots won the State A Baseball Title Saturday with a 7-0 win over Harrisburg.
Kasen Christianson threw a complete game, one hit shutout, while striking out eight in the victory.
Lincoln scored five runs in the second inning, including a two RBI single from Kooper Perry and an RBI single from Chase DuBois.
Two more runs were scored in the fourth to build the seven run lead.
That was enough for the Patriots to cap off a perfect 3-0 weekend at the state tournament. They outscored their three opponents 25-4.
Ryan Hirsch, Sawyer Mindt and Sawyer Tolk each had two hits in the win.
