Sioux Falls wins their opening game at Little League World Series

UNDATED – The Sioux Falls Little League squad opened up the Little League World Series with a win on Friday.

Sioux Falls defeated a team from Louisiana 2-0.

Gavin Weir was spectacular on the mound, striking out 15 batters and not giving up a hit.

Sioux Falls plays their next game on Sunday.
