RAPID CITY, S.D. – The non-profit South Dakota Citizens for Liberty group has served a lawsuit to the Rapid City Area Schools.
The lawsuit, which also includes two RCAS parents, claims the RCAS board has “a history of discouraging public comment and is inconsistent in allowing public comment at all open official meetings.”
The group and its lobbyist Tonchi Weaver, filed the lawsuit earlier this week.
The District’s legal counsel is currently reviewing the complaint and RCAS spokesperson Katy Urban reported they have no comment at this time.
