SPEARFISH, S.D. – An apartment fire Friday in Spearfish led to some evacuations.
The Spearfish Fire Department was dispatched to the fire in the 1700 block of Ryan Road around noon.
Upon arrival, firefighters noticed smoke coming from a ground level apartment.
Spearfish Police worked on evacuating the apartment building as fire crews worked to keep the fire contained to the single unit.
The Spearfish Fire Department wrote on their Facebook page that a tremendous effort by all first responders helped to ensure no injuries.
There was no word on the cause of the fire.
