STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis fire crews quickly knocked down a grass fire just off Highway 34 east of town Monday.
The fire burned approximately one acre just to the east of the Kickstart Travel Center.
The fire was on the south side of the road and shut down one lane of traffic as crews worked to put it out.
There was no word on the cause of the fire.
