STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis Police and the Meade County Sheriff’s Office have located a suspect wanted in connection with an assault Sunday night.
In a social media post, Police reported a heavy law enforcement presence in the area of Elk and Moose Drive.
Oficers, deputies and troopers were looking for a shirtless male who had allegedly assaulted a female and fled the area.
After a night of searching, authorities announced they located the subject, identified as Blue Christianson. He was taken into custody without incident.
Sturgis Police say Christianson had a warrant out for his arrest for simple assault, burglary, stalking and interfering with 9-1-1.
