STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis sales taxes in September were lower than in September of last year.
That, from Sturgis City Finance Director Faye Bueno, who deliver the report to the full council Monday night (Nov. 20).
The Tripl B, however, saw increased numbers.
Sturgis is gearing up for the holiday season and is hoping residents take advantage of Small Business Saturday on November 25th and various events taking place within the community for the upcoming Christmas shopping season.
