Tori Kay Tetrault

Tori Kay Tetrault was surrounded by her family when she went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO.

Tori was born on May 24, 2020 in Spearfish, SD to parents Tyler and Breynn Tetrault. No words will ever adequately capture the life of Tori Kay. Everything about Tori was perfect; her sparking blues eyes, her nose, her lips, her dimple on her left chin…Tori was unlike any other. There was something incredibly special about her. Tori had a spirit that was unmatched. People fell in love with her the moment they set eyes on her. She put a smile on the face of anyone she came in contact with. You could always catch her wearing her favorite pink hat with her rainbow crocs hanging on to her blanket, pink bear, purple bear and puppy. Tori was incredibly beautiful, smart, kind, caring, funny and courageous. She admired her sister, Taya, and spending all her time with her. She loved wrestling with her daddy and being wrapped in his warm hugs. She loved being able to play and spend time with her cousins and family. She enjoyed visiting nana and papa. Above all, she loved being mommy’s helper, going everywhere with her and never leaving her mommy’s side.

Tori loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed getting caramel coffees and getting her nails done. She loved to dance and sing, go out to eat, go bowling, swing at the park, feed the fish, ride her scooter and go on family walks. She loved the pool and was fearless in the water. She was the best at telling jokes. Her favorite food was “noodles with white sauce”  and she would never pass up a bottle of milk.

Despite all of her setbacks, Tori lived her life to the fullest and brought so much joy to the world. Proud is an absolute understatement. She had an infectious personality, laugh and smile. She had the strongest yet kindest heart. Tori is loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond belief. May Tori’s life and legacy continue to inspire and to lead us to our ultimate happiness and home.

Tori is survived by her parents, Tyler and Breynn; her sister, Taya; her grandparents, Jerry and Ronda Feterl and Tim and Roxie Tetrault; her great-grandmother Ardath Waisanen; her great-grandfather Louis “Spud” Lemmel and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her dog, Ruby, will also miss her treats and snuggles dearly.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Leonard “Butch” and Florence Feterl, Robert “Bob” Stalder, Carl “Bud” and Rose E. Tetrault and Bernice Lemmel.
