RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police have arrested a woman following a robbery at an E. North Street business early Wednesday morning.
Police were dispatched to 302 E. North Street at around 5:40 a.m. for a report of a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to a convenience store employee who reported that an unknown female had entered the business, brandished a knife, and fled with several items.
Police located a female matching the suspect’s description nearby.
Initially refusing to comply with commands, she was safely detained and found in possession of items taken during the robbery, as well as a knife.
The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Rosalee Geiger of Rapid City, was arrested for First Degree Robbery and an existing warrant.
She was transported to the Pennington County Jail.
