KEYSTONE, S.D. – A Keystone, S.D. man has been identified as the person who died early Sunday morning, Dec. 27, in a one-vehicle crash east of Keystone.
A 2017 Kia Sportage Ex was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 40 when the vehicle left the roadway, entered the north ditch and rolled.
The driver, identified as 63-year-old Scott Handy, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the vehicle’s lone occupant. He was not wearing a seat belt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
