Fog leads to pair of accidents at E. Hwy 44 and Radar Hill Rd. in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says due to foggy conditions Friday morning, they had 2 separate accidents at E.Hwy44 & Radar Hill Rd.

While Law Enforcement was on scene of the first accident, law enforcement reported  a second accident involving a passenger car and a school bus in the east bound lanes of Highway 44.

The Highway Patrol reports only minor injuries but troopers and deputies were on scene working the investigation.

REMINDER: The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office reminds people to pull over if you see red and blue lights. Do NOT pass a police car that is running reds and blues. And slow down once you see an accident.

When driving in fog, keep your car lights ON so others can see your vehicle.
