PIERRE, S.D. – State health officials reported 130 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday with 45 of those considered probable.
Active cases of the virus saw another small uptick to 2,157 and the number of people hospitalized remained stable at 64.
There were three new deaths reported, one of them out of Pennington County, where 190 people have died of COVID-19 complications since the start of the pandemic. The state’s death toll rises to 1,912.
Pennington County recorded 3 new cases Sunday, with one of them listed as a probable case.
Meade County added two new cases, as did Oglala Lakota County.
There was one new case each in Lawrence and Custer County.
