PIERRE, S.D. – State health officials reported 75 new cases of COVID-19 in their Monday report.
Active cases dropped 100 from Friday to 3,654 Monday.
The number of people hospitalized due to the virus fell by 5 to 122.
Seven new deaths were reported, sending the state’s death toll to 2,834. Three of the new deaths were out of Meade County, where the death toll reaches 82.
New cases across the Black Hills area totaled 15 with seven in Pennington County, four in Oglala Lakota County and two each in Lawrence and Meade Counties.
