CUSTER, S.D. – According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office and Custer Police, a partial building collapse occurred on Sunday night.
In a Facebook post, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office reported a partial building collapse of the siding at Flora’s, located in downtown Custer.
There were four unoccupied vehicles underneath the debris, but no injuries have been reported.
Due to the high winds and concerns of further blowing debris, authorities closed down roads in the area, including 6th Street, Sunday night. The roads were to be closed until further notice.
The Sheriff’s office was encouraging people to avoid the area.
