RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Veterans Classic Baseball Tournament continued Friday as Rapid City Post 22 picked up a win over Pierre.
The Hardhats got the day two victory 5-2, handing Pierre their first loss of the tournament.
Hunter Tillery earned the win for Post 22. He allowed five hits and two runs over six and a third innings, striking out eight.
In other action Friday, the Post 320 Stars earned their first win of the Veterans Classic on Friday.
The Stars rolled over the Alliance Spartans, 17 to 2.
Gavyn Dansby led the Stars with 4 RBIs.
