RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police report fewer calls and arrests but an increase in crime over the year 2020.
The Rapid City Police released its annual crime stats this week.
RCPD responded to more 122,000 calls, that’s down 14% from 2019. Homicides and robberies both went up with homicides doubling and robberies up 48%.
Motor vehicle thefts, burglary, and aggravated assaults are also up, arrests however dropped by 26%.
