Man shot at Rapid City motel last month dies from his injuries

RAPID CITY, S.D. —Rapid City Police report the victim of a shooting at the Grand Gateway Hotel on March 19 has died.

Police say 19-year-old Myron Blaine Pourier of Porcupine died Sunday, April 3 from injuries sustained in the shooting.

The suspect in the case, 19-year-old Quincy Bear Robe, was arrested on March 19 on charges of Aggravated Assault and Commission of a Felony with a Firearm.

With Pourier’s death, the Pennington County States Attorney’s Office will now be reviewing the charges against Bear Robe.
