RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say a pursuit ended with an accident Tuesday night just north of the downtown corridor.
A police spokesman says officers attempted to stop a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed near 5th and Omaha, but the driver failed to stop.
The vehicle continued on until colliding with another vehicle at the intersection of 5th and New York Street.
Police say five people were transported to the hospital with various injuries, but none of them were considered as life-threatening.
The incident remained under investigation Tuesday night.
