Sturgis area fire crews help knock down small wildfire Sunday

STURGIS, S.D. – Fire crews from the Sturgis area battled a small wildfire on Sunday afternoon.

Great Plains Fire Dispatch says the Warren Fire was reported just before 5:00 p.m. on January 9th.

The fire was located approximately five-and-a-half miles southwest of Sturgis.

The human caused fire burned approximately .19 acres before being contained and controlled at 5:50 p.m.
