RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Sturgis man entered a plea of not guilty to aggravated assault during a court appearance this week.
Brice McGlaun, 18, is accused of strangling a 19-year woman in February.
McGlaun is also charged with a misdemeanor count of contributing to the abuse, neglect or delinquency of a minor.
If convicted, McGlaun could face up to 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine for the aggravated assault and up to one year in county jail and a $2,000 fine for the misdemeanor.
It’s not the only case McGlaun is facing.
In January, he was charged with misdemeanor obstruction and in February, he was arrested and charged with allegedly having sexual contact with a child under 16 in October 2022.
