STURGIS, S.D. – In the latest COVID-19 report from the Meade 46-1 School District, there are a total of 35 cases this week.
The Elementary School reports 11 cases, the Middle School’s report 17, the High School has 7 and 5 district employees are listed as having COVID-19 in the latest report.
Cases are high enough within Sturgis Williams Middle School that they have entered a white phase. That means masks are recommended but not required.
All other district schools remain in the green phase.
Within the Rapid City Area School District, there are 197 student cases and 30 staff cases listed in the latest report.
There are 495 students currently in isolation or quarantine and 36 staff listed in the same category.
