RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City Police report two people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon with serious, non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed during an altercation that involved multiple people.
Police were dispatched to 11 New York Street for a reported assault. With the help of witnesses, the officers were able to find the two suspects who had been identified as Danyion Lebeaux, 23, and Clifford Pourier, 27, of Porcupine, South Dakota.
Officers performed a search on Pourier which turned up syringes that field-tested positive of methamphetamine and he was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Surveillance video from the area showed Lebeaux leaving the altercation and disposed an object in a bay of a nearby carwash. The arresting officers located a knife in the spot Lebeaux was seen discarding the object and he was placed under arrest for two counts of Aggravated Assault.
